Description
Hidden away down a quiet lane is Trenarlett Farm in the heart of rural Cornwall. Barney's Cottage has recently been converted from a former barn into luxury accommodation. Beautifully restored with painstaking attention to detail, this wonderfully spacious cottage affords lovely views of the surrounding countryside from its large enclosed private gardens. Barney's is the perfect choice for couples looking for space and comfort in a peaceful location. Whilst independent from the farm and each other, a combination of cottages can be booked together for larger parties looking for that together holiday without being too together! The Farmhouse also offers high quality Bed and Breakfast; handy if you wish to extend your stay, or for friends/family wishing to join you for a few days. Trenarlett Farm is in the centre of a triangle formed by the pretty villages of St Tudy, Blisland and St Breward, all roughly 1.5-2 miles away. Each has a village shop/post office and traditional friendly pub, between them serving a good variety of food, with real fires in winter. Just 10 minutes' drive from the A30 and only 5 from the Atlantic Highway (A39) you are well placed to enjoy the Moors, the stunning coast path, an endless choice of gorgeous beaches, pasties in Padstow, Doc Martin in Port Isaac or maybe the zip wire over the amazing The Eden Project. Cornwall is your oyster as they say!
GROUND FLOOR:

Lounge/Diner: TV, DVD player, woodburner.
Bath/Wetroom: Double ended bath, large shower area, w.c., basin
Bedroom: Superking bed (6' - may be unlinked to twin 3' - please order in advance) wardrobe, dressing table, bedside units.
GARDEN & PARKING: Parking for 2 cars. Open courtyard area to front. Large fully enclosed private garden to rear, slate patio, steps up to lawn, lovely view over open countryside. Garden furniture, barbecue. Open fronted covered area for bikes/hanging wetsuits/storing surfboards etc.
Changeover Day: Friday - arrival after 4:00pm - departure by 9:30am
Pets Welcome: £20 per pet per week. Please call us if you wish to bring more than 3 dogs as this may be possible by prior arrangement.
Power and Heat: Electricity and oil included in rent; oil fired hot water/underfloor heating, heated towel rail bathroom, woodburning stove lounge
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). Please order unlinked beds in advance.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot available on request; other equipment may be hired.
Shop: 1.5 mls Pub: 1.5 mls
The cottage is designed with wheelchair users and people with limited mobility in mind and some additional facilities can be provided. The owner is happy to discuss your individual requirements to help you decide if it is suitable for you.
NOTES: No smoking, quality sofa bed in lounge - available for flexiable sleeping only, property must not exceed 2 plus a baby. WiFi provided. Call box 1.5 mls, mobile reception varies.
