Bench Cottage and Little Bench are two specially built accessible self-catering bungalows in 2001 designed for wheelchair users and the less able.
Bench Cottage has two bedrooms sleeping up to 4 of which the master bedroom has electric foot and head riser beds and can be a 6 foot double or twin with plenty of access all round. The large bathroom has wheel-in shower, handrails and adjustable height washbasin. The lounge has electric riser/recliner chair as well as other comfortable furniture. A fully accessible kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, full oven, microwave etc
Little Bench has the same facilities as Bench Cottage but only has the one bedroom, again with electric head/foot riser beds and riser/recliner chair in the lounge sleeping 2.

Both cottages have level off street parking close to the front doors, level entrance and level throughout with wide doors.
List of accessible equipment includes portable mobile hoist, wheel-in shower chair, monkey pole etc. There is no extra charge for equipment. You may bring your own buggy etc for charging as we have storage room but please bring your own charger.
