Primrose, Bluebell, Rose and Honeysuckle cottages are all architect designed newly converted buildings that once formed part of a working farm in the very rural quiet village of Gissing located in picturesque Norfolk.

All four cottages lie in the grounds of a recently discovered Medieval Hall house circa 14th century and have been awarded 4 Stars from the English Tourism Council.

The designers have developed the entire complex for families with a disabled member, therefore, most things are accessible. Rose, Primrose and Bluebell Cottages have a NAS rating. It must be remembered that all guests have different requirements and guests should phone to confirm anything that is not clear before making their booking. All three cottages have wheel-in showers.

We believe we have the best small complex leisure facilities in Norfolk. The centre boasts a Heated indoor Swimming Pool with overhead hoist, Hot Spa, Sauna, Pool Table, Dartboard and fitness area, along with a great deal of tourist information to you plan your holiday.

A laundry room is fitted with a washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board. One well-behaved dog is welcome in each property at a small charge. The grounds are also professionally designed and well lit, including the courtyard, which is block paved throughout with large raised beds and seating arrangements interspersed. A mobile barbecue is available for all guests. All cottages have lovely views over open countryside.

Lastly, if you do not have a week to spare, our short breaks offer excellent value with a three-night stay over the weekend or a four-night stay for the same price during the week.

Improvements to Honeysuckle Cottage
An annexe is being added to give an accessible ground floor bedroom with ensuite. This will enable 8 guests to stay at any one time, a bath has been installed in the ground floor bathroom.

Facilities

A range of mobility equipment e.g. shower chairs and toilet raisers are available at no extra charge. Riser recliner chair is available at a small charge. Other equipment is available to hire from a local company.

Short Breaks
We have now extended our short break season to enable more residential care homes to take short summer breaks.

In the leisure building there is a overhead hoist giving you access to the swimming pool and hot spa.

We also have a Oxford mini 140 mobile hoist which can be rented out for £7 per day.

In the bathroom on Bluebell cottage these is a overhead tracked hoist which makes the bath accessible to less able bodied guests, we do make a small charge for this, but guests provide their own sling.

We do also have some further additional equipment which we can supply free of charge ,shower chair (wheeled or no wheels) raised toilet seat, over bed monkey pole, blox bed and chair raisers, over bed table, wheeled walking frame.

Their is also a electric riser recliner chair that can be rented for £5 per night.
