The light and airy sitting room has a large window which overlooks a beautiful well-stocked garden, with trees, lawn and ponds which attract a variety of birds and wildlife. Only a 10 minute walk from the centre of this historic market town, known as "The Gateway to the Dales" , for excellent shopping, a wide main street with cobble setts, regular open-air markets, which leads to the famous castle. It is an ideal base to explore the Dales, the moors and Skipton has very good public transport links.
Ground floor: well equipped kitchen, sitting/dining room with coal effect gas fire set in an attractive tiled surround, door leading to a patio and the lovely garden. 1 double bedroom which is en-suite with large separate shower unit, WC and wash hand basin.
Facilities: gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster. Laundry facilities by arrangement with the owner, iron/ironing board. Colour TV, video, radio/CD player. All linen supplied. Full gas central heating and electricity included in the rent. Garden table and chairs. Sorry, no smoking in the cottage please. Private parking. 1 small well behaved pet welcome.
