Linked by a cuaseway and ferry from Portmagee, Valentia is one of the more untouched areas of southern Kerry steeped in history and boasting a wealth of wildlife both above and below the sea. With its crystal clear waters and unspoilt beaches there is plenty to do on the island including cycling, walking, fishing and diving.

You will also be ideally situated, whilst staying at these Holiday Homes in Valentia, to explore the sights Kerry has to offer such as the Ring of Kerry, the Killarney Lakes, Skellig Rock, the vibrant towns of Tralee, Dingle and Killarney to name but a few.

Electricity is charged at €5 per day June / July/ August; €8 per day rest of year. Towels are available for hire at €2 per set (1 hand towel and 1 bath towel) payable to the supervisor.

These self catering properties are located on the scenic island of Valentia just minutes from the lovely little village of Knightstown.

A small cove which is safe for swimming is just 800m from the houses while there are a number of larger beaches within a short distance.

There are plenty of outdoor activities on offer at this location including; diving, fishing, cycling, hiking and golf.

A number of excellent golf courses are within easy driving distance of these properties including Waterville Golf Links and Tralee Golf Club .

There are some facinating historical sites on the island such as the Tinnies and the Old Slate Quarry which has recently reopened as a functioning quarry.

While staying at our holiday homes in Valentia, you will be ideally situated to visit Waterville, Ballinskelligs, Killarney and Kenmare.
