The Farmhouse is owned by a wheelchair user and a Neuro-Physiotherapist. (Sleeps 6/8 people)
The fully adapted kitchen can be used from a wheelchair or ambulant visitors - it includes a microwave, lap level cooker, drive under hob, sink and work top, easily accessible American fridge/freezer.
The large dining/sitting room area has comfortable seating, satellite T.V. facilities and French doors with electrically operated security shutters leading to the patio area in both the large ground floor bedroom and the large sitting room. There is a separate WC and laundry/utility room with automatic washing machine.
The first floor has a large landing area with two double bedrooms, each containing 2 twin beds. There is a large family bathroom together with a double size shower, WC, a bath and also a separate WC, making this ideal for friends, carers or family members. Bedlinen and towels provided.
There are no steps or ramps on the ground floor of this Gite so entry to the main Farmhouse Gite is directly from the large internal double length garage via an electronically operated door.
There is approximately 2 acres of land, partly accessible by wheelchair, via hard surface paths around the grassed garden area, a paddock and woodland. A large original stone bread oven is featured at the rear of the property. Garden furniture and BBQ facilities are provided for alfresco dining. There is access to the property and extra secure parking at the side of the house, via electrically operated gates to the front. One can enjoy extensive views to the rear with a panorama of the surrounding Maconnaise hills.
