Masham has a choice of pubs and restaurants as well as craft, gift and antique shops to browse around and is home to Theakstons and Black Sheep breweries with visitor centres. Lightwater Valley theme park is only a few minutes drive away with its new shopping outlets, whilst the spa town of Harrogate and cathedral city of Ripon are close by. Superbly located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Park with the market towns of Leyburn, Pickering and Thirsk close by. Fishing, cycle routes and superb walking all close by. Accessed via the shared courtyard garden:
