Surrounded by spectacular scenery, with walks in every direction and the Coast to Coast walk nearby, this is a haven for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Farndale has a Nature Reserve and the wild daffodils which are in bloom during early Spring carpet the banksides of the River Dove. There is a south-facing patio to relax and dine al-fresco on a warm summer evening, or stroll to the traditional country inn, serving quality food. The market town of Pickering famous for the Steam Preservation Railway, the city of York and the Heritage Coastline with many quaint fishing villages are within easy driving distance.
