A short track leads down to the promenade where you can enjoy a leisurely stroll into the fishing village of Spittal for everyday shopping and pub, or continue along the beach to the historic border town of Berwick which has a wealth of amenities. The cultural city of Edinburgh is only an hour’s drive, or leave the car behind and travel by train from Berwick through stunning scenery. A truly unspoilt coastline, with quaint fishing villages, mystical coves and sandy bays all waiting to be explored, visit the Holy Island of Lindisfarne or take a boat trip to the Farne Islands home to grey seals, puffins and kittiwakes.
