Dunoon is an ideal base for exploring the Cowal Peninsula, the Argyll Forest, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Ferry links to Gourock offer the opportunity for day trips to Glasgow and the Ayrshire coast. Sailing, golf, horse riding, pony trekking, quad biking, fishing and indoor leisure facilities are all available locally, with excellent walking and cycling in the immediate area.
