Ashbourne Hall is our new and exciting property for 2009 situated within walking distance of the Ashbourne Town centre with its shops bars and restaurants.
Ashbourne Hall is steeped in history Bonnie Prince Charlie stayed the night at Ashbourne Hall in 1745 after proclaiming his father James III on Ashbourne Market place.

Ashbourne is a Derbyshire market town often referred to as the “Gateway to the Peaks”, and is sited on the southern fringe of the Peak District National Park. The town is home to the famous and unique annual Shrovetide football game played on Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.

Ashbourne Hall has ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms/ wet rooms stylishly decorated to 5* standards throughout with a contemporary feel yet being sympathetic to the buildings history.

There is an impressive lounge with long windows and original shutters, large sofas and wall mounted plasma TV with Sky, DVD player, large dining conservatory with contemporary oak tables and chairs leading out to the enclosed walled courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ.

The stylish kitchen is fitted with luxury granite worktops, an electric range cooker, microwave, double floor standing fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/ dryer this leads through to a Games area having a 6ft snooker table and table football, in the dining conservatory there is a chess/ draughts table.

The walled court yard to the rear of the property is very private with contemporary garden furniture, outdoor lighting and BBQ. To the front of the property there is a large gravelled parking area with enough space for 6 cars, there is further parking to the rear of the property.

The Bedroom layout is as follows;

Ground Floor

Ilam Room – Double bedroom with bunk beds (Thorpe Cloude Room) leading from it. These share a shower room and are ideal for a family get together.
Tissington Room –Double bedroom which can be used for the elderly or disabled guests with a suitable shower room.

1st Floor

Mapleton Room – Super king/ two singles bedroom with an additional single bed. Family bathroom with bath.
Bonnie Prince Charles Room – Super king/ two singles bedroom with an additional single bed with en-suite wet room.
Boothby Room – Super king/two singles with en suite wet room

2nd Floor

Dovedale Room – Super king/ two singles bedroom
Osmaston Room – Super king/ two singles bedroom
These rooms share a wet room lending themselves to a family as they are on a separate annex
Cokayne Room – Double bed with an en suite wet room.
Royal Shrovetide Room – Super king/ two singles bedroom with dressing room suitable for a cot or small child with en suite shower over bath.

Disabled Room Specification

The ground floor is wheel chair accessible with a ground floor bedroom with double bed with walk through to a custom built wet room. The whole of the ground floor accommodation is wheel chair friendly with wide door access, ramps and level exterior access to the property, the ground floor wet room is large and easily accessible by wheel chair, there is also a shower chair, the double bedroom has a portable hoist.
